Renewals of current Fund Defined grants were approved by St. Louis City Senior Fund’s executive board for a total of $1,219,885 in awards that began July 1 (FY2021).
The Senior Fund’s Fund Defined grant opportunity is funding awarded to address needs of older St. Louis City residents in specific focus areas determined by the Senior Fund board based on community needs assessments and other sources. Grant renewals were for four focus areas: Falls Prevention, Economic Security, Social Isolation, and Homemaker Chore Services.
Twenty-four organizations will continue to provide resources supported in whole or in part by the Senior Fund:

- Food Outreach (Homemaker Chore Services)
- Heat Up St. Louis (Economic Security)
- Housing Options Provided for the Elderly (Economic Security)
- Jewish Family Services (Falls Prevention & Homemaker Chore Services)
- LifeWise STL (Economic Security & Social Isolation)
- Lutheran Senior Services (Economic Security)
- Memory Care Home Solutions (Social Isolation)
- Mission: St. Louis (Falls Prevention)
- Missouri EnergyCare (Economic Security)
- Northside Youth and Senior Service Center (Falls Prevention)
- Oasis (Falls Prevention)
- Paraquad (Falls Prevention)
