The St. Louis City Senior Fund has opened three funding opportunities to support City of St. Louis residents who are 60 years of age and older.
COVID-19 Emergency Needs Grants
Funding awarded to address any immediate needs that an organization may have to support older St. Louis City residents. We are defining immediate as needs that would be addressed within 1-6 months after receipt of funds. Support can be used for PPE or other supplies for staff or older City clients, technology needs directly tied to service delivery, or other staff support or direct aid to older clients.
Organizations can apply for a grant up to $10,000. Upon receipt of application, award notifications will be sent within two to three weeks. Applications will be accepted starting September 15, 2020.
Applicant Defined Grants
Funding awarded to address applicants’ determination of organizational and community need that is consistent with the Senior Fund’s mission. This funding is allocated to support innovations in programs, emerging needs, and organizational capacity.
Organizations can apply for a one-year grant up to $75,000. Applications are due no later than October 13, 2020.
Senior and Community Center Grants
Funding awarded to support existing senior or community centers located within the City of St. Louis, that have defined geographic service areas, and currently provide programs and services for older adults. This funding can be used to support capital or technology improvements and/or general operating support.
Organizations can apply for one-year grants up to $25,000 for capital and technology improvements and up to $7,500 for general operating expenses. Applications are due no later than October 13, 2020.
